Once upon a time during the very recent past,
Jean-Daniel Louis attended the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, where he had the pleasure of working on the Bombay Gin’s editorial board - culminating as poetry editor for # 32. At present, he lives with his wife and daughter in the Upstate New York hamlet of Phoenicia, within the woods and mountains made famous by a sleepy fellow: Rip Van Winkle. He currently attends Bard College in pursuit of an MAT in English and moonlights at Upstate Films, dealing dollar popcorn with real butter, arty films, local chocolates & coffee, and for the most part, having a good ol’ time of things.
